I’m an artist, a traveller and a storyteller-passionate about capturing the wild beauty of Africa on canvas. With a love for adventure and a keen eye for the unexpected, I travel deep into the wilderness, finding inspiration in the wild animals, landscapes and seascapes that shape my work.

A Life in Art
For over 30 years, I’ve lived and breathed art—both as a full-time artist and private art teacher. I’ve exhibited my work in galleries across South Africa, including several solo exhibitions. My paintings have found homes in Australia, the UK, Switzerland, and Canada. Some of my collectors own over a dozen of my originals, while my largest corporate collector has 19 of my originals in their offices.
But here’s the thing—I never wanted to be boxed in.
Art Without Limits
I’m a nomad at heart—both in life and in my art. I follow inspiration wherever it takes me, exploring different genres and fine art mediums. My work evolves, just like the stories I tell through it. For me, art is an adventure. And I want you to be part of it.
Art with a Story
Every painting I create is more than just a scene—it’s a moment frozen in time, a glimpse into the soul of the wild, the Heart of Africa. My brushstrokes bring to life not just the magic of Africa but also the subtle humour and presence of its creatures. There’s a lightness, a playfulness, a ‘being present’ in nature that we often miss, and I love translating that onto the canvas.

In these videos, you may join me on the adventure and meet the wild animals in their natural environment, then join me in my private studio and watch me paint the creatures we have found!
The first type of video is where I combine my passion for art, wild animals and travel to create completely unique fine art of the animals in their natural environments. I bring you into my world to ‘Meet My Muse’, the wild animals. Be a part of my creative process, including the inspiration that led to the artwork being created in the first place! I take you on the journey with me, an African safari adventure, where you are witness to the inspiration first hand. You meet the wild animals I encounter and then join me in my private art studio for an inside peek to the actual artwork being made. I talk to you about the wild animals featured in each video and I include my thoughts behind the artwork as I move along creating the painting or drawing.

Commissions are something I do for both corporate companies and individuals like yourself who may be looking for something personal, that something special, really unique designed just for you. I have done many paintings for both corporate and private collectors. My largest Corporate Collector currently holds 19 commissioned artworks from me in their office space and my largest Private Collector currently holds 14 commissioned artworks from me in their home.
