This painting was a commission for someone whose favourite animal is the Wild Dog! It is an original inspired by a wild dog seen in the early dawn light with the misty haze of Kruger National Park still lingering before the sunrays break through and the day begins. The dry riverbed makes a perfect backdrop and the old weathered log shows the beautiful textures in nature. Watch this Mindful Miutes video as the dog painting unfolds on the canvas.
