This painting of Giraffes silhouetted against the African sunset was inspired as a wedding gift for my goddaughter and her groom. Coming from Africa and currently living in Cambodia, this panting was done to celebrate my goddaughters’ roots in Africa and to introduce her husband to the vast African landscape and the intense African Sunset. The vibrant hues of the sunset echo the warmth and radiance of love; the resilient thorn trees stand as a reminder that beauty and growth often emerge from life’s challenges; the elegant giraffes embody the grace and strength of the partnership and the gentle flow of water reflects the ever changing journey shared in life.
